August Favorites!

So I know it's a thing to make "favorites" videos on YouTube an such, so I figured I'd make a blog for mine! I started with way too many things - I guess August is a good month! I'm limiting this one to beauty/fashion! Well.. let's get into it!

1. Body Shop - Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask
I am horrible at skin care. Horrible. But I've been wanting to try a mask that I can use occasionally to remove impurities and have a fresh start. I went to the Body Shop since I just got a rewards/membership account and they have good options for sensitive skin. One of the consultants recommended this mask since it is good for sensitive skin and also lots of fun since it's a hardening mask.... yes! I came home and tried it out that night after a hot shower and it was great! I left it on until it hardened and rinsed off, patted dry, and moisturized. Sometimes masks can burn a bit on my skin but this one did not and I felt rejuvenated. If you're looking for a new face mask try her out!

2. EOS Shaving Cream

So I'm not sure if I have extremely quick growing man hair or if my shaving creams are crappy, but this stuff is a miracle. Most of the time if I shave at night my leg hair is already getting stubbly back by the afternoon. Not a fan. My mom sent me this in a care package and it is the greatest. It is a pump bottle, not an aerosol, more like a cream, and the lavender scent is ahh-mazing. It keeps my legs significantly smoother for longer about 2 whole days! Maybe this is just great for me, but once again, I recommend this.

3. Amazon Sunglasses

As an obsessed Amazon shopper I am always on the look out for cheap products. I've been in the market for some new sunglasses with that "RayBan Clubmaster" look, and boy did I find what I was looking for. A pack of 2 for $10... what?! I hopped on that train and received a black pair and a brown tortoise shell pair, and they even came with a cloth baggy to store them in! I am so happy with the fit and quality, plus I've had so many compliments on them! These are great if you're on a budget but want to get that RayBan look. PS- they're now only $8.35 and free shipping!

4. Nordstrom Rack Cardigans

Nordstrom Rack is my new home girl. I actually got these back in May or June, but I love them so much. These short sleeve cardis are perfect everyday throw overs if the air conditioning is a bit chilly in class or you want a little something when it cools down at night. In fact, I loved the cream one so much I got the same one in black! They seriously go with a n y t h i n g. Since it was Nordstrom Rack I couldn't find the exact one, it may be, but the link is below.

5. NKHenry Denim Grande Wallet

This summer I've been working as an intern for designer Nikki Henry who designs beautiful leather purses and wallets. I've helped her make catalogs and line sheets and it's been lots of fun! I mentioned at one point that I love denim everything and Nikki gave me one of her denim wallets and it is my fav. I use it as my every day wallet. It's perfect because it can either throw it in my purse or backpack or if I'm in a rush or don't want to take a bag I use it like a clutch! Plus since it's denim it goes with everything!

6. Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Once again, this was a gift, actually from Christmas. I was in ULTA and loved the scent and my mom is a psychic and had already purchased it for me for Christmas (she's awesome). I've been using it since then, but I think it's a great summer scent! It's fresh, feminine, and floral, kind of hard to describe over the internet so you'll just have to smell it for yourself. They even have them in rollers if you just want a smaller portion or something easier to throw in your purse! You can get it at several stores, here is the link for Sephora, maybe you can get someone to buy it for you..
Smell good

I hope you enjoyed these reviews! Let me know what you think in the comments or if you try anything! I look forward to using these products abroad as well!

Hello!

Looks like I'm starting a blog! I will soon be studying abroad in Florence, Italy and blogging my time there for class credit as well as my own enjoyment. Just thought I'd introduce myself to start things off!

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm from Illinois suburbs and studying Design and Merchandising in Philadelphia, PA. I'm interested in pursuing a career in Fashion Marketing, but we'll see what happens! I am obsessed with Instagram and Pinterest and food. I love trying new restaurants and cafés with friends and cooking up meals. I enjoy being fun and spontaneous as well as laying in bed watching Netflix. I'm up for almost any adventure and that is what I will be posting soon!

There is obviously more to me but that's all for now! Follow me for more adventure!
